Not much going on there (although I'd update Acrobat to version 8 as it's quicker). Have you tried running any maintenance tasks, such as checking for disk errors or defragging the drive?

done a defragg and run Reg Mech but didnt achieve anything.

The PC isnt mine but the problem the owner is having is a delay and/or repeated faliure when trying to print from Word. (every time ive tried it it does print.......eventually). The printer is connected via usb and is also being used wirelessly by his vista laptop without problems. I just assumed that somthing was slowing it down in the background.
