SOme of you may remember that I've mentioned in the past the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) Laptop that I have (also called "$100 laptop, though it never quite got that cheap)
The OS is built on Fedora & they've now created a version that will run from a stick - on (most) other computers. THe latest version is 0.84 - though I've not been able to get that to run on anything other than the OLPC - but I could get previous versions to work.
You'll find it looks very different from other OSes. Some have argued that's not good; others (inc. me!) remind those critics that we have all moved from one OS to another without any problems. Users in the work place today have probably encountered Windows in several versions & maybe Mac / Archimedes as well, depending on what their school had. We all cope with new OSes - even if we grumble at the time!
One thing that's key to it is the idea of children working together on work - not on their own - so they have ways of sharing work.

Login though it seems to be a little hard to find the previous (0.82) version.
