The anti-virus software on both my laptops have run out almost simultaneously. I was running Norton Internet Security on one and a trial of McAfee on the new one. I have installed the free AVG trial to tide me over but need to decide which way to go. Is there a particular favourite at the moment? I see that Norton was Nick's recommendation but is that still the same? I need to cover 3 PCs. I could also use some Net Nanny type of software too so is this best separately or is there a product that covers this too? Thanks for any answers.

Norton still my favourite, and protecting my main PCs.

As for Net Nanny software, if you're running XP try the free Crawler Parental Control. It's no longer actively supported, but you can get it from the link below:

Thanks Nick. Is that Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security? Thanks for the link to the free software. The laptop the boys use is and XP one so that should be suitable.

Norton Internet Security - Norton 360 is basically last year's NIS with a few extra tools that aren't worth the extra outlay.

Thanks, Nick, I'll see what deals are available as I remember getting a better deal buying a CD than downloading last time.
